I'm a second year college student, and I plan on being a psychologist. My plan thus far is to focus mostly on child and adolescent psych because I love working with kids and young teenagers. I've been tossing around the idea of psychiatry, but I'm still undecided.

I love being outdoors, especially near the ocean or the mountains and my dream growing up was to become a marine biologist, but I realized I'd rather keep it as a hobby instead of a job. I also love to read, it's been a big part of me since I was very young. So ideally, I'd love to read a book (usually psychologically based) under a beautiful tree over looking the ocean.

So, I've had my fair share of problems over the years and I tend to dive into myself for answers. I love to write because it allows me to vent, analyze and discover who and what I really am. I don't think of myself as a very open person, except when I find someone who I feel I can talk to, and who I feel really cares.
I may talk about my past quite a bit, but it's just who I am right now, and what I do. I'm searching for the reasons and the answers...and it's okay.
